Eds favorites - I don't ever recommend many other products - so I do use and find those helpful. I 'make' most of my graphics with xara products - and even many web templates. For the more 'commercial' end - I recommend Gimp or Photoshop and DEFINETLY dreamweaver for your web editor. If you need to wait before you can afford dreamweaver check out NVU - it's free and does enough to get you going.
