Time for some truth about Internet Marketing and why I’m making at least 400 times less a year than I could be. You see I’ve been doing this for a long long time. I know the tricks, the psychological triggers, and the methods to make a killing on-line. More than most people (guru’s if you will), I have the technical skills to do just about whatever I envision.
Instead I’ve chose to sell tools and services that I’ve created, not hammer my lists day after day, and avoid a lot of the hype. I even lowered the prices on Website Monthly because I wanted to help more people.
Let me open your eyes a little bit and explain why you keep buying things and your “income” rarely goes positive.
It’s because they NEED you to keep buying the next big thing!
What happens when you keep jumping from idea to idea?
NOTHING (except your wallet gets lighter)
Look, it’s plain true. You get hammered day after day from the same people with the same hype. What are you doing to weed out the stuff you really don’t need? Probably nothing and instead of investing in something of your own ( A website, an article, graphics, etc…) your buying the ebook of secrets, the software that you MUST have, etc.. They mail you everyday because they are trying to annoy those of you who don’t buy to get off the list… They aren’t trying to help you – they are trying to sell you as much as possible. (Think sleezy car salesman who doesn’t care if the car you buy lasts).
Now – you might be reading that and saying, “But ED – You just recommended something recently”. I’m sure I have. I’ve recommended TOOLS and legit sources of information to help you grow. It doesn’t matter what one of my lists your on. I’ve never told you to buy an info product, I’ve never pushed the latest and greatest thing. In fact I’m pretty transparent.

I use WordPress – and I talk about it all the time, and give our members the tools and services they need to use it better.
I use adobe’s Dreamweaver and Photoshop – and have never pushed it on a soul (it’s somewhere in the rang of 2k).
I talk about the things we do, and what we use in other words. I’m focused, and I try and help you be.
I want you to think and focus on building something of your own. A network of websites, a service, or heck just a blog. If I kept sending you to the latest and greatest thing, or secret you wouldn’t get much done would you?
If your in Website Monthly you have enough “starter materials” to literally create a 10,000 a month business. You have to focus – and you have to keep learning the technical stuff. If you aren’t in Website Monthly – the same thing still applies. You have to create something of your own, your own websites, your own blogs, your own concept.
Recently we added a bunch of tutorial type content to the Other98percent.com just to help you learn a little more. It’s important that you invest in yourself…. and I’m not done. I have 3 (yes 3) new paid membership sites on the horizon that will all be added to Website Monthly and a new segment that will be giving you custom made wordpress themes (Value 200 a piece). Everything we are adding to Website Monthly is information and tool based right now. It’s part of my commitment to helping you reach further in your own efforts.
Now this is a long rambling post – I probably jumped around a bit and didn’t cover each thing I talked about quite enough. What can I say, I’m rambling. This category of the blog is about my rambling and I’m allowed to ramble
