Mike,

Eric is the big bookmarking demon. He uses it to bump all his squidoo lens's up in rankings. I do it for a couple pages for every site I build - that's it.

I DO NOT use the proxy as it seems to not work well. It's hard keeping any proxy list 'good'.

I don't over do it though so I've never had a problem.

I do however keep a b-demon folder with all my profiles, all my sites, etc... Sometimes I'll load a different profile and throw in a few sites I've done before but not that often.

I actually own Bookmarking demon and must say I'm very happy with it, as they keep updating it about once a month.

I would love to hear a little bit more on how you use it Ed. How much of your sites do you bookmark, to how many accounts, how often, do you use the proxy function etc.

Best regards,
Mike

An outstanding recommendation. A great tool with potential if used correctly and with constraint.

Thanks for the heads up.

Here is another Advance step after you get the Bookmarking tool to take you even further:

After you start this program. Since you are creating Multiple bookmarks at various sites through this auto creation process, it is Smart to also bookmark some of your bookmark spots to increase the Value of those accounts as well. The new accounts with links to them only increase the value of Links going out of them.

I also USE Onlywire.com which allows you after you manually set up, or input your ID and Password to the different account it interfaces. Onlywire has a spot where you drag the javascript Tab into your browser. When you are on a particular URL you can click the Onlywire Tab and bookmark that page. Only wire has a few bookmarking account that are not automated via the bookmarking tool.

So Here are two advanced tips. I take a few of the Bookmarking sites I created through the Bookmarking Tool, and go to those individual sites. For example:
http://www.i89.us/viewuser.php?uname=bigebiz

I will use the Only Wire to Bookmark that URL of that Bookmarking site of my account.

Tip Two: Since Onlywire Bookmarks Delicious, I will go to http://pingomatic.com/ and Ping the delicious account http://del.icio.us/bigebiz1

I can ping other bookmarks accounts as well. ( Delicious uses No Follow Tags, so PINGING Delicious gives you the added benefit and other sources to capture your URLS to overcome the no follow)

So what I have created is a virtual spider of Links pointing to my sites.

I have multiple Social Bookmarks linking to my sites. I increase the value of several of the social bookmark sites accounts by bookmarking them, and then I "PING" other RSS accounts to come Read and grab my Bookmarks.

Make sure you get The Social Bookmarking Tool at http://www.groupmarketingsolutions.com/bookmark.php
