Hybrid Car The History of Green

On July 22, 2007, in Concepts, by Ed

The application for a patent for a hybrid gasoline and electric motor power train in 1905 brought the technology of hybrid motors into existence. At that time the energy saving features were not the focal point of this dual power model but the history of hybrid car technology had been born.

It’s amazing when you think that it’s been over a hundred years since the concept of a “hybrid” was invented and we haven’t gotten them in real mass production until the last couple years. I read somewhere that before we had gasoline powered cars we had electric powered cars.

It’s just amazing that it can take idea’s so long to catch on.

It also means that there are a wealth of opportunities out there for webmasters, marketers, and inventors. Don’t give up on an idea you have with out exploring all your options.

It’s to easy to say “if it was a good idea it would be done already”.
